Behold the Beauty

Today I traveled in search of icebergs. Every year these huge 10,000 year old monuments grace our shorelines.

This year they have arrived earlier than usual and there are many more

on the way. So it promises to be a good season for great photography enthusiasts.

At first look from a distance, this appears to be just a block of ice in the bay.

Nearer to shore though it begins to take form.

It's magnitude begins to appear.

And then, voila........it is truly a rare scenic beauty!!! Breathtaking actually and I've seen many of these over the years.

Last night I watched the news item of the contestant on "Britain's Got Talent". Her name was Susan Boyle and as she stepped on the stage to perform, everyone's first impression of her was that she had very little talent. You can enter her name on the YouTube site and watch her performance. You will be amazed at her inner beauty!!!
Yesterday I visited a cancer patient who has endured some difficult weeks after receiving treatments. She was lying down but instantly came to greet me when I arrived. She has lost weight due to her loss of appetite and of course her hair is gone due to the chemo. She however has not lost her wonderful warm smile and her kindness that shines from within. She also is such a beautiful reflection of courage and determination to not give up!!!
The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen, nor touched ... but are felt in the heart.
